Phuket Elephant Conservation is a small eco-friendly elephant centre in Phuket, run by the 6th generation of a family who has cared for elephants for over 160 years—passing down knowledge and compassion for Asian elephants through generations.

Animal welfare is the core of everything we do. We believe that responsible and ethical elephant tourism can play a vital role in the survival of the Asian elephant, but only through the highest standards of care and compassion. We oppose any unnatural or abusive practices and are dedicated to continually improving elephant welfare and promoting education.

Inclusion & Activities

• Introductory talk about domestic elephants and ethical management (more than 45 languages)
• Learn how to make 100% eco-friendly paper from elephant dung.
• Visit our Elephant Village and observe these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.
• Take in panoramic views from our elevated observation walkway.
• Watch as elephants cool off under a gentle rainwater shower.
• Prepare food and nutritional balls, then feed the elephants.
• Enjoy a live cooking demonstration of a famous Thai dish.
• Delight in a freshly cooked traditional Thai lunch.
• Refreshments available throughout the program: fruit, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and snacks.

Cancellation policy

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event
